(VIDEO) Our Big Win of the Month! “The Search” Goes Upper East Side

New Feature!!

Let’s celebrate a recent win for our buyers and sellers.  This month?  Buyers!

We go to a couple who started their Upper East Side search before COVID.

Deal One

Our first deal thankfully didn’t take flight.  Why thankfully?  Had they not been outbid, they would have been stuck in the middle of a pandemic with a stalled-out renovation.  That would have been messy…

Deal Two

Then, we found a lovely property in the East 80’s.  Negotiations ensued, and a deal was struck!  But not so fast….our buyers got boxed out of this cooperative apartment they LOVED– by a member of the coop’s board (ew! gross!).  Talk about a conflict of interest.   For perspective- the deal we struck was actually almost 7% higher than what they paid, when the seller, who had to move out of state, realized that they had no choice to sell to that person.  Boo!  I only wish I could tell you more….

a little celebration!

The Winner!

Finally, our buyers they had to wait a YEAR before finding the perfect home.  But indeed they did.  Patience, and persistence paid off- with an even BIGGER home at an even BETTER address, at a LOWER price.  Congratulations to our buyers!  We’re steering clear of the bad karma that will sure come around to that coop’s board member- and focusing on the big win!
