A little entertainment break:
One of my favorite guys

from Penn, Matt Rosler,

begin “Dueling Tampons” years ago.

It’s an homage to the so-named sculpture on Penn’s campus, and constantly touts Penn’s ties to the Entertainment Biz.
This came today (are you going to be there?):
DT Blast: Hollywood coming to Graduation/Reunion Weekend 2011! ________________________________________

Hollywood coming to Graduation/Reunion Weekend 2011! Posted: 24 Mar 2011 10:05 AM PDT In years past, Penn’s commencement speakers included Jon Huntsman Jr (C’87), John Legend (C’99), Google chairman Eric Schmidt, and Mayor Michael Bloomberg. If you didn’t plan on coming to Penn’s Reunion/Graduation 2011 weekend, you may be enticed after you find out which big Hollywood star will be giving this year’s commencement address. After the jump, find out who and what other tv stars and producers will be speaking during the weekend! Since he filmed “Philadelphia” at Penn years ago, two time Oscar winner Denzel Washington keeps coming back to Penn (largely in part to the fact that his son is an undergrad). And in a few weeks he’ll be delivering the commencement speech at Penn on Tuesday, May 16. More about Denzel from Penn HERE. Exciting stuff! While he’ll probably be the biggest star at Penn this weekend, he’s not the only one coming from the world of entertainment: Friday, May 13, 3-5 pm – “Getting Real: From Campus to Camera”: Perspectives from alumni involved in reality television, including producers and contestants including TV producers Mark Cronin (ENG ’86-“Flavor of Love”), Greg Goldman (C’96 – “Don’t Forget the Lyrics”), and contestants Charlie Herschel (C’01 – “Survivor”), and Kristin Haskin Simms (C’93 – “Project Runway”). More HERE Sunday, May 15, 10 am – SNL star Vanessa Bayer (C’04) will be the guest speaker at Annenberg’s undergrad graduate ceremony on Sunday, May 15 at 10 am.
