Boston Marathon 2013- I'm Raising $5000 for cancer research- Will You Help?

For any of you who follow me on Twitter, you may see my running triumphs and travails.

This April 15th (3 months from today!!) I’ll be running the Boston Marathon.

While this will be my 13th marathon, running Boston will be one of many firsts for me:

1) My first Spring marathon
2) My first Boston marathon
3) My first marathon running with Team In Training, an excellent organization dedicated to fighting Leukemia & Lymphoma
4) My first long run in Boston since I moved from there in 2002.

I haven’t run more than 4 miles there in so long!

Many runs along the Charles motivated me to run marathons in the first place.

I can’t wait to see the smiling faces along the route from Hopkinton.
I have a goal of raising $5000 by January 31st, in a little more than two weeks.

Will you consider giving even $25?

It would be incredible.

I look forward to sharing all of my successes with you in three months’ time, as I train through snow, cold, and the Winter doldrums.
All the best,
Scott
